Our story begins in 1955 when our Honorary Chairman, Hacı Mehmet Şen, one of the doyen figures of the industry, was first introduced to natural stone. We owe our current know-how to our esteemed elder, who continued his operations in the sector by investing in quarries in 1969.
Stepping into the natural stone industry in 1955, Sentaş Marble continues its operations with decades of generational experience, advanced production infrastructure, and a deep passion for natural stone. The foundations of the company were laid with the entry of its founder and Honorary Chairman, Hacı Mehmet Şen, into the sector. This structure, strengthened by quarry investments in 1969, expanded its production activities with the establishment of its first marble factory in 1987.
Today, Sentaş Marble boasts a modern production facility that merges the unique beauty of natural stone with high standards of quality and craftsmanship. Its factory in Afyonkarahisar utilizes advanced automated production lines, high-precision cutting and processing machinery, digital design and modeling technologies, and experienced quality control teams. The factory's annual production capacity reaches 650,000 m².
One of Sentaş Marble's core strengths is its exclusive natural stones extracted from its own quarries. Premium stones such as Calacatta Viola, Calacatta Green, Calacatta Venato, Calacatta Victoria, and Oro Grigio are quarried in the Altıntaş region of Kütahya and offered as processed products and raw blocks to customers worldwide.
In addition to Calacatta, Grigio, Giallo, and various other natural stone groups, the product collection features a wide selection of marbles and onyxes. Collections such as Calacatta Viola, Calacatta Green, Calacatta Victoria, Calacatta Venato, and Grigio Venato stand out particularly in prestigious interior design projects with their natural veining structures, unique colors, and the distinct character of every single slab.
Sentaş Marble products are offered with a variety of surface finishes and processing options suitable for kitchen countertops, bathroom applications, flooring, wall cladding, feature wall applications, and diverse interior architecture projects. Alternative surface treatments such as polished, honed, brushed, bush-hammered, and sandblasted enhance the design flexibility of the collection.
Through the Sentaş Slabs Gallery, opened in 2021, the company brings its exclusive natural stone collection together with its clients. Displaying over 100 carefully curated products, the showroom structure allows customers to closely examine the color, vein, and surface characteristics of the natural stones.
Sentaş Marble's approach goes beyond simply producing natural stone. Introducing Turkey's undiscovered and characteristic natural stones to the global market, promoting their unique features on an international scale, and contributing to the development of the natural stone industry remain among the company's core objectives.
